React Right Provider

React Right is SSI’s emergency first response course and provides you with the training and knowledge you need to act as a first responder in a medical emergency.

In this flexible dive program, you can choose which subjects you want to learn, including primary assessment, first aid, CPR, and stabilization techniques. By the time you are certified, you will be able to act as an emergency first responder, provide first aid and CPR, administer oxygen, and provide AED support in a medical emergency.

Using a combination of academic sessions and practical training scenarios, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need for emergency response. React Right Instructor

React Right Instructor allows you to train those looking to React Right Providers; SSI’s emergency first response course provides you with the training and knowledge you need to assist those in learning how to act as a first responder in a medical emergency.

As a React Right Instructor, you will have the skills to teach all areas of the SSI React Right program, including primary assessment, first aid, CPR, and primary stabilization techniques. as well as oxygen administration in emergencies and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) basics.

Using a combination of academic sessions, practical training scenarios, and a series of assessments, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need to teach students to act as emergency first responders, providing first aid and CPR, administer oxygen, and provide AED support in a medical emergency

DAN BLS / 02 / DFA

Basic Life Support: CPR and First Aid (BLS)

The life-support skills taught include one- and two-rescuer CPR for adults, children, and infants. Use of automatic external defibrillators, bleeding management, assisting choking victims, and responding to a person in shock. The first aid skills taught include conducting secondary assessments, splinting and responding to medical emergencies.

Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries (EO2)

The DAN Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries course teaches you how to administer life-saving oxygen first aid to divers who may be suffering from decompression illness (DCI). Additionally, this course will teach you how to recognize the signs and symptoms of decompression illness and respond to them accordingly.

Diving First Aid (DFA)

DFA Pro includes all elements of the DAN BLS and EO2 courses and includes material on neurological assessment and first aid for hazardous marine life injuries.  In the neurological assessment portion of the DFA Pro course, you will learn how to properly manage injuries with neurological implications. You will learn to recognize these injuries and properly perform a neurological assessment. You’ll also learn what information to collect and relay to emergency medical services.   In the hazardous marine life injuries segment, you will gain the knowledge you need to identify specific types of marine life injuries and the first aid skills to treat them.
